History: Before Abby was turned, Abby was a environmentalist. She was very much into plants and making the world a cleaner place. She was either going to become a teacher of science, or go out and do the actual field work. Abby did end up choosing to work around the world and restore habitats for endangered animals. Unfortunately, Abby never even got to experience that. She was a senior in college when her fate was changed.
Abby had been walking back from her late night class by herself since she had stayed behind to help out her professor to clean up the mess they had made in her advanced biology lab class. As she was out in the dark on a winter night, someone abducted her. Abby had always been a good-hearted person and never fought with people, so she had no clue what to do in these kinds of situations. Abby flailed and tried to scream, but this man was strong and Abby had no way of escaping him. He ran so fast and Abby had gone still with fright. What was this man? Surely no human could run so fast! When the strange man had brought her back to his destination, where a bunch of other people like herself were huddled in a corner.
Suddenly, more strong looking men and women came out and surrounded Abby and the rest. Each man and woman took their own victim for themselves and bite into their necks. Abby had passed out immediately from the pain and when she woke up, there was more throbbing pain. Pain she had never felt in her life before. When the pain had vanished, a man was there to give her a fresh pair of clothes and a bottle of what Abby found out to be blood from a human. She had become a vampire. Her eyes had gone wide and went to go punch the man. To her and the man's surprise, a large ball of fire spurted out of her fist and hit the man. He was quickly put out with some water by someone else: another man.
That man ended up being the person to help Abby be the person she is today. He had the same supernatural powers as Abby: elemental manipulation. He had been around for quite some time now and was well mastered in all the elements. He took her to Canada where she learned to control herself and be the person she once was. Abby had lost her way a few times with the rage and although she still struggles to keep her newly formed temper down, she has learned to accept that her life will never be normal.
