Personality: Destie is a mischievous little angel, not quite one to devote herself to the strict goodness of angels, yet loyal to them to the core. She wavers a bit on the line of things but is absolutely good once you strip away her fronts and peer past the rest of her personality traits. She is good natured and a bit of a jokester, always out to laugh or to make someone else laugh. Destie is a good spirit though she can sometimes be found in more unusual situations. Maybe saying something just a bit off of the beat, in some way. Destie has that intellectual glint in her eye so; being the trickster of sorts that she is, it is common that her intellect comes into play. Any pranks that she may pull are going to be quite a bit tricky to actually discover, given her tendency to think outside the box in ways one wouldn't normally think as much.
This angel is a kind hearted, relatively young soul. She's completely willing to go out of her way to help others without so much as a question. Destie can be found picking up things for anyone who drops things when their arms are too full of groceries, or returning lost money. Not to mention the manner in which she will comfort a frightened child who got separated from his / her parents, and making sure they get returned safely. Destie is also known in some relativity for her skepticism of things. However, if you have something you wish to speak to her about she will almost always humor you by listening. No matter whether or not she may be interested in what you're talking about, or shares your opinion.
One of Destie's greatest fears is to not be able to act in any way one day. She fears that one day she will end up freezing and just not be able to do anything, except flee. She lives in deep regret of her previous actions regarding something of this sort, as well. It resembles a bit of a shadow, always trailing after her.
Despite Destie's several regrets, she is a kindly angel. She doesn't allow them to hinder her in any way from her goals and approaches in aiding the people. Overall, Destie is friendly and good natured, though a bit on the mischievous side. She also has a great sense of loyalty, straight to her core, despite straying from the typical one hundred percent lightness of angels.
Family: Destenie doesn't have any biological siblings, or parents. She does however have friends that she has made over the years that bear a resemblance of family towards her.
History: Destenie Sapphire Korman came into being in Italy in the time period of the 1500s, around the end of the Renaissance. She was fully grown, of course, though extremely clueless to what she was supposed to be doing in the mortal world. She only had the mission of sorts that she was supposed to accomplish ingrained within her as a set of unforgettable directions. She had had no name, left without a clue to anything but her natural ability to speak all languages, and to walk. It took a good few years for Destenie to get herself settled in within the mortal world. There wasn't much of an other choice that she had in the matter. During her earliest years in Italy she familiarized herself with the Italian culture, settling herself into a comfortable lifestyle there spreading the light. Not long, by her definition, after she had settled, however, maybe forty or so years, she moved on by a bit of an internal prompt of sorts.
Destenie spent the following years to the current day in many other locations. Of her five hundred hears she spent a bit of time in each of a variety of countries and small towns. Germany, China, England, France, Spain, and Northern Africa were among a few of the areas she visited. While within these locations she spent her time improving the circumstances and trying to make things better for everyone. She also sprouted new friendships with many different angels she happened upon through those time periods. She also earned her nickname, Destie, from one of her several friends towards the later end of those years.
This time was also spent by Destie learning how to control the natural powers of an angel. She hadn't had a clue how to use them when she first came into existence, so things were a bit difficult for a length of time. The first ability she grew accomplished with was her power of flight. It came as more of a result of her wings accidently popping out of her back. This occurred after she unknowingly released them from their place, located tightly against her back. The primary thing she learned was to release them and draw them back to her back, to hide them, in turn. Gradually, though, Destie grew more confident in her wings and eventually progressed to being able to fly after many accidents in the air, as well as close calls.
Her knowledge of her light and dark powers, as well as her fire and ice powers grew over the years alongside her growing flying ability. Her healing ability was one of the only of her abilities to be discovered by accident. She had simply been working as a nurse one day, helping set bones and bind wounds when it came upon her unknowingly. The healing came in a warming of her hands that were located over the wound. She had watched the wounds of the severely injured person heal rapidly. It had surprised her to no end, causing her to leap back in surprise at first. However, after a bit of practice, she grew comfortable with the powers and began to use them a bit more freely in order to help others.
Destie's discovery of the evil came in the form of a demon whom she had come across in her travels towards the beginning of her existence. The young angel had felt the stinging of wrongness and a flashing sense of cold, cruelness of the signal unknowingly. She had, however, later in the day stumbled upon it's cause. Wreaking havoc among the people of the village. Meeting the demon though, as it had advanced toward her, as if to 'take care of' the angel she had fled. Her wings had appeared and the angel had fled at top speed, with a keen sense of fear. Later, though, Destie had returned and made her many attempts to heal the destruction the demon had caused in her absence. She did her best, even if she hadn't been able to aid the people in the moment.
Eventually Destie did manage to find her way to the Western Hemisphere in her travels to improve things. This was how she later happened across the town within Canada where she currently resides. A bit of a new start away from her youthful mistakes in the Eastern Hemisphere. Now Destie simply tries to settle in to her new location and fit in.
