My Name's Jisa

Well, I had time, and though I know some people know me, I decided to introduce myself. You can call me Jisa, most people do. I've been roleplaying on sites like this for nearly five years now, though my talent with it seems to fluctuate quite a bit =S.

I'm an aspiring writer, and am in the editing stage of my full-length novel, Beautifully Damaged. I entered in in the 2012 Watty Awards and won Undiscovered Gem (less than 200 account fans) in the Fantasy category. I'm quite proud of having actually finished it, nevermind having so many people like it. It recently reached over 100,000 reads. I'm in the middle of a different story and the beginning of the sequel to my contest winner.

Despite that, I haven't really been able to write consistently since December and I hope it changes soon xP.

Other than writing, I like to play with graphic arts and photoshop occasionally, usually when one sites like this one. Even less often than that, I draw. Usually very simple things that come with a burst of sudden artistic-ness. =P Otherwise, I'm not that great with it.

What takes up most of my time is swimming as I am a competitive swimmer and that entails selling my soul to my coach xD. So I swim eight times a week and row twice, as a less stressful sport. Of course, the reason I'm only so often is because I recently found out that I need to get spinal surgery, that I refuse to get until after exams, and that has cut down on my swimming considerably (and obliterated rowing) to avoid making the problem worse.

So I get to take it easy for now. I like to be helpful and get things done pretty efficiently, unless my inner procrastinator takes over (usually with posting).

I'm generally a quiet person, though I don't think you'd get that from the way I'm dragging this out, huh? Sorry for that. In any case, I do like to talk to people and I definitely like to plot, so if you have any ideas, give me a shout.
