Personality: Sky is a very witty little mermaid, one who isn't at all afraid to bite back with her tongue. Sarcasm is her best subject after all. She's also quite a bit on the mischievous side, always making just a little bit of trouble for others here and there. Sky is kindhearted enough, and quite friendly as well however, it may not appear to be like that at first. Sky is a bit of a goof and does a little bit of silly showing off when her friends are around. She also isn't all that good at being subtle with things that she should know she should be keeping a secret. This only applies to things she's trying to get people to understand, however. When it comes to any secrets her friends entrust to her she won't reveal them unless it's necessary. At her very core Sky is incredibly loyal with a few trouble making tendencies. She is also just a touch naive.

Mother - Mist Brooke - 124 years old
Father - Rock Brooke - 182 years old
Half-Brother - Neptune Tide - 86 years old (father's son)
Sister - Coral Brooke - 43 years old
Sister - Isabella Brooke - 27 years old
History: Sky was born in Milos, a Greek Island. Her mother was Mist Brooke and her father Rock Brooke. She was second born into the family, considering her father's first son from a different marriage. Sky grew up frolicking in the tides with Neptune, who was more of a babysitter to her than a brother as she was so much older than her. She so much enjoyed weaving through the sea and over the valleys of coral and colorful fishes. Ever since her toddler years she had been a difficult little mermaid to keep up with. She matured quickly, however, being nurtured by her mother and taught by her father, even at such a young age. She was a bright little girl and caught on to the ways of the sea quickly enough to easily hold her own. It was sink or swim, after all.
It took several years into her teenage years [at around the age of eighteen or nineteen] for her to actually be inclined to inquire about human cultures. Sky had always had knowledge of the world that was separate to her own world that she had lived in so far in her life. The young mermaid had already mastered walking on two legs and the Greek language [and her pod's means of communication which resembled that of dolphins a bit]. Her mother was relatively willing to teach her though and ended up teaching both herself and her younger sister Coral. Sky was quite a bit enraptured with the new thoughts and mannerisms that she was learning about and through the span of the next few years she began to emerge into the mortal world. The mermaid who had now grown into a young adult watched the going ons with an inquisitive manner in her attempts to learn doing those years. During this time her other sister, Rain was born, though they never actually ended up growing all that close to each other due to their large age difference.
One of the largest turning points in Sky's life occurred several years after she began inquiring after mortal ways. Sky decided to make a move to Canada. It was quite a ways around the world but she had saved more than enough money from working on different islands [so people wouldn't question her age]. The girl left with tearful, and somewhat upsetting goodbyes to her family and pod. She made the swim across the ocean in spurts, wary of flying and preferring to stay in the water for as long as she could. Sky managed to take a bus to the current little town where she now resides. She's still growing accustomed to the mortal ways and is quite naive to most of everything but has adjusted well enough to pass viably as a human, albeit a little unusual in some mannerisms.
